This is one Talented Sista!!! Featuring: Kimmie
A craft created by the Goddess Kimmie, who believes in her dreams, talents, and visions. After searching in many stores, unable to find the perfect accessories to enhance her attire, Kimmie began to research on how to create her own. From there, Kimmie began to use her creative talents and abilities to create the perfect bangle using quality silk, rayon, and cotton threads in a wide range of colors. After many trial runs Kimmie felt confident in her work and Nubian Spheres was birthed!
Mission:
Drawing from my well of blessings and pouring endless bouts of solace, enthusiasm,positivity and eclecticism into my sphere of happiness! OWWWW!!! I shall now recall to mind that the motion of the heavenly bodies is circular, since the motion appropriate to a sphere is rotation in a circle. To use my talents and visions to create an accessory that will enhance your attire and beauty. A percentage of all sales will go towards continued research of the Sickle Cell Anemia Disease.

Meet Latanya Hagler a.k.a Brooklyn. She's one of New York's finest in poetry. Latanya grace this blog with one of her many masterpiece's :
"My Own Women"
I am not in the moodto be daddy's little girl-
to dot my I's and
cross my T's
or my legs...
at the dinner table.
I don't want to care about what other people think
just because I am Black
and a girl who was
"raised better than that."
Why can't I say ain't instead of isn't?
Or chew gum in church?
I don't think God will strike me for a piece of juicyfruit!
I don't want to be a lady today.
I don't want to say "you aren't considering my feelings"
when I really mean "fuck you!"
I want to wear both my heels and skirts high
without considering how low my blouse is cut.
I want to solve quadratic equations
and discuss derivatives
because I'm more than just smart..."for a girl."
I want to look in the mirror and say "honey, does this make my butt look big"
and smile when he says "yes."
I want to run
when I should walk
and speak.
And not just speak, but speak loudly.
Not because what I have to say matters,
but because what I have to say
is something I want said.
